Max Hamon

Max has worked in the finance industry for over a decade, beginning his career at KPMG in the Channel Islands, where he qualified as an accountant. He gained extensive experience across the financial sector before moving into retail banking at Skipton International as a Senior Manager in the finance team. Here, he combined balance sheet management responsibilities with leading “business solutions” initiatives, such as core system migrations, internet banking implementation, and data warehouse development. 

Subsequently, Max joined Butterfield Bank as VP and Head of Finance. He served on the bank’s Executive Committee and further refined his expertise in strategic financial management, liquidity and interest rate risk, and financial reporting and forecasting. 

Today, at HFL, Max focuses on leveraging data and technology to deliver exceptional service within fund administration and fiduciary professional services. He is passionate about integrating innovative solutions that future-proof businesses and enhance both the client and team experience. 

Outside of the office, Max is a dedicated basketball player and has represented Guernsey in the sport for over 10 years. He is committed to personal growth, embracing new ideas, and staying at the forefront of industry developments.
