Jo Huxtable
Jo is the partner responsible for Deloitte Tax in the Channel Islands. She started her career in London with Arthur Andersen in 1991 where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor and has experience in both corporate tax and indirect tax. Since moving to Guernsey in 2003 she has focussed on corporate and international tax for a wide range of financial services clients; real estate, investment funds, private equity, banking and fiduciary. Other leadership roles within Deloitte include People & Purpose and also Corporate and Social Responsibility strategy.
Jo is a member of the GSCCA Executive and was previously President (2021 to 2023) and chair of the GSCCA tax sub-committee (2010 to 2021). She works closely with local government and industry to consider the impact of changes to the domestic tax regime but also international tax developments, such as BEPS, economic substance and, more recently, the likely impact of Pillar 2.
