The IoD Guernsey’s November breakfast seminar, sponsored by Butterfield, will explore how directors and businesses need to report on ESG data and the impact of climate governance in the island’s battle against climate change and to avoid being labelled as greenwashing.
Ali Cambray, ESG & Net Zero Director, and Amy Pickering, Audit Senior Manager, from PwC Channel Islands will be presenting at the event which takes place during COP26 as Guernsey identifies their place in the global issue of sustainability.
At the IoD Convention in October 2021, local industry-leaders had the opportunity to showcase Guernsey’s input on the global issue of sustainability. The November breakfast aims to build on the Annual Convention and provide business leaders with genuine advice and support on how to prepare their businesses for a green future.
Ali has more than 20 years’ experience working in the sustainable strategy space and is currently working with clients on ESG and Net Zero strategy, integration and reporting. Amy is supporting with PwC CI's Net Zero strategy and is leading on embedding climate, and broader ESG, considerations within the audit process.
