IoD Director Development Programme Launch

The IoD Development Programmes launch will take place in Guernsey on 5 July 2021.

 

You can find out about the IoD Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction, the IoD Accelerated Certificate in Company Direction and the IoD Introductory Certificate in Board Readiness. There will be a short presentation by us, the GTA and a past student, which will be followed by a Q&A session.

The event is from 12:30-13:30 but registration with tea, coffee and sandwiches will be available from 12:00 noon.

The IoD Certificate and Diploma in Company Direction programme consists of five modules and aims to equip you as a director with the all-round skills, knowledge and understanding essential for directing an organisation from a strategic perspective. Each module concentrates on particular aspects of the Director’s and Board’s role. The first four modules make up the Certificate in Company Direction which, if you wish, can then lead on to the Diploma in Company Direction.

The IoD Accelerated Certificate in Company Direction offers an intensive alternative to the modular Certificate programme, which forms the first part of the Company Direction Programme. The delivery of this course takes place over 5½ days and covers all of the modules in the standard delivery.

The IoD Introductory Certificate in Board Readiness is a three day foundation programme providing an important start to the IoD qualification pathway for aspiring directors. It has been designed to support the next wave of talent in Guernsey and prepare them for life in the boardroom.
