The Institute of Directors’ (IoD) December breakfast will be a special seminar, with Guernsey’s business community hearing more about Deputy Ferbrache’s thoughts and action plan as the new President of Policy and Resources.
Deputy Ferbrache will build on his mantra of ‘action today’ and share his objectives and goals for this States term.
At a pivotal time for the island, Deputy Ferbrache will also be able to discuss the 2021 Budget as it goes before the States just weeks after the breakfast.
Keen to engage with what matters most to IoD members, Deputy Ferbrache will answer questions submitted in advance in a question time style session.
Joining Deputy Ferbrache for the Q&A session will be the President ofEconomic Development, Deputy Neil Inder. As both departments are so key to the island’s economic prosperity Deputy Inder will be able to address any questions which crossover into his mandate.
IoD Chair John Clacy said: ‘Supporting our finance industry, increasing funding to Guernsey Finance, addressing the many challenges our tourist industry faces, and the interplay of both with our population regime, are critical for the island’s economic and social prosperity. There has never before been such a need for decisive action and I am looking forward to hearing Deputy Ferbrache address our members.’
The IoD December Breakfast is supported by The Evolution Group, Butterfield and Sure.
