Chris Mountford

Chris has spent more than 25 years in private banking and wealth management sector and is currently an Executive Board member and Deputy Managing Director of Credit Suisse Trust Limited. 

He has been involved in a diverse range of strategic initiatives and senior leadership roles in private banking including sales, operations, risk & regulatory, talent development and as the head of key markets for private/institutional clients. Chris is a founding member of the Credit Suisse Guernsey Diversity Advisory Committee and a member of the Credit Suisse Sustainability and Environmental Committee.  

Chris was educated in Guernsey before earning a BSc (Hons) from Loughborough University. He is the IoD Guernsey’s Ambassador for Chartered Directors following extensive training in this area including being elected as a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute, a Chartered Company Secretary, a Chartered Governance Professional (FCG), a Fellow of the Institute of Directors (FIoD), and an Institute of Directors Chartered Director (C Dir).
